One day trip to Adlabs Imagica extended to a stay at Novotel? Quite what i was longing for! Right next to Adlabs Imagica is Novotel Imagica. It basically serves as a base camp for everyone to rest & take a delight in both amusement (Adlabs Imagica) & water park (Aqua Imagica). For people coming from Mumbai & Pune, it can be a pleasant (atleast in december) one day trip full of adventure! Just 1-2 hours of long drive.

We were supposed to go lonavla and stay at fariyas resort, on the way we took a pit stop at khopoli, happened to see those huge banners saying “Every adventure needs a basecamp” and quickly agreed to stay at novotel *Imagica tickets being inclusive* 😉 Cherry on top! Stacking our bags and quickly perking ourselves up we headed to Imagica *eyayiyayiaa*

Imagica being India’s first adventure theme park is always seen buzzing with people even on weekdays. I was visiting imagica for the second time now, pretty excited for Nitro (that massive rollercoster) & Deep space which shoots you to crazy speed in a matter of seconds. I prefer going to these rides than those entertainment shows. In the evening, they have a grand parade wherein all the characters dance around the whole park. B boys show off their moves with unicyclists honing their skills. Unicyclists riding remind me of the video song “Paradise” by Coldplay! The parade was high spirited and it ended with Imagica’s theme song.

Next morning, we witnessed some scrumptious breakfast. Classic european breakfast with some indian breakfast varieties. The desserts were exquisite. And now this makes me hungry!! There was a grand parade in the dining area too, characters happily clicked pictures with everyone. Overall it was a good stay at The Novotel. Went there to celebrate parents 24th anniversary.

• Deep space : Takes you into a space rollercoaster, Jaw dropping.
• Scream machine : Get onto it!
• Rajasauras river adventure : Beautifully made jurassic park with a twist in the end. Splash!
  Try and plan going on a weekday here, they have pocket friendly discounts. Also do not forget to hydrate yourself enough.
